Design and construction

In terms of design, the Galaxy Tab S5e and iPad Air are very similar to the metal body. At the same time, the Tab S4 (below) has a glass back cover that looks good but slippery, attracting fingerprints and posing a risk of cracking.

The iPad Air is slightly behind in pixel density, but the more important difference is that it uses a 3:2 aspect ratio, while Samsung chooses 16:10. There is no right or wrong here, they just do a better job of various tasks. For example, watching movies and TVs will be more suitable for the widescreen aspect ratio of the Galaxy Tabs.

If you're going to buy an Apple Air screen, you can use Apple Pencil, but the Tab S4 comes with an S Pen. Tab S5e does not have stylus support.
