As the number of clubs are growing around the world, it is becoming a common scenario for a lot of youngsters to fall out of love with clubbing. Different people have different reasons for not going to clubs to celebrate their big days. Don’t feel out of place if you are in a city that is famous for its nightlife, but you don’t seem to connect yourself with the crowd. Don’t mind if you cannot enjoy the club culture; there are many other things to do anyway.

Clubs are over-expensive

You have to pay more than double the price for everything including cover charges, drinks, food, and cabs. If you are in Delhi, for example, you cannot just walk away if you are caught drinking and driving. Therefore, you have to hire a cab at surge pricing, which proves way more expensive than it should be otherwise. With the amount that you spend on one night in a club, you can host a grand house party.

Clubs are overrated

Even in the capital city of India, clubs shut down at 1 am, which is real shame for the party ...
... owls. You actually start enjoying the ambiance and your swing of drinks after 10-11 pm. As soon as you begin feeling energetic for the party, the lights turn on and you have to exit the club. Moreover, everyone from the alley of clubs are leaving from the place, which results in a huge traffic jam of at least an hour. The famous party places in Delhi, Hauz-Khas Village, for example, are the typical hub for thousands of people to gather every Saturday evening. However, the demographics of party-goers have changed. People who used to go for a night out five years ago are no more interested to go to such places because tawdry people come in abundance to many clubs.

Transportation is an issue

Although it is a great initiative by the governments all over the world to penalize drink-and-drive, it is still an annoying situation when you have to pay a huge amount for the taxi. First of all, it is not possible to find a taxi easily, and even if you do, it over-charges the customers on a Saturday night.

You can take a car on rent in Noida or Delhi when you are a traveler in Delhi, but you have to take one non-drinker friend with you who can drive you home without paying the penalty. People often think it is better to stay at home rather than facing so many hassles just for one night at a club.

Clubs are not like the olden days

In the last decade or so, clubs used to maintain a high quality in food, drinks, music, and crowd. In order to cope with inflation, the clubs have started deteriorating their quality in everything. You get to have very little amount of food at a high price. The drinks are often diluted even though they are expensive. The DJs play the music that they like rather than what people like to enjoy. The worst scenario is that the crowds come from all sorts of society who have no idea what they are meant to do at clubs. Incidents of molestation, pick-pocketing, etc. often surface inside and outside the clubs, which rips off the fun factor from a night out.
Whenever you are there in a metropolitan, you may often feel compelled to go for clubbing. However, you must not bother what your friends will say if you do not like clubbing. You can always do many other things in town rather than just following the trends.
