Opera Powered Dapps To Htc Blockchain

Smartphone maker HTC revealed that it will work with the Opera browser team to provide distributed applications (dApps) for Exodus blockchain phones.

Decentralized applications or dApps are applications based on partitioned systems such as blockchains. Hong Kong Mobile has announced in a tweet that the phone will now carry multiple dApps. Opera will launch a dApp that allows users to make small payments online at e-commerce stores.

The app will allow users to pay through the Opera browser and take advantage of the built-in hardware wallet on the phone. Initially, the browser only supported Ethereum (ETH), but there are plans for Bitcoin (BTC) and Litecoin (LTC) in the coming months.

Another Taiwan startup has also included it in the list of dApps on mobile phones. At first glance, their application seems to be just another normal motion tracker called Numbers. The app will record the steps taken, sleep and even drive data. The difference is that it allows users to get data through their built-in market. Users can sell data to companies that need it for different analytical purposes.
