Recover Permanently Deleted Files With Undelete Software

Talking of data security, data is something that should always be kept at a safe place and you must always have the latest backup copy of the data. The backup copy of data often ensures that even if your original files gets corrupt, you still have a chance to retrieve important data. However, if you don't have a backup copy of the file and you have accidentally deleted files from your hard drive, then don't panic. You can still get all your files back with the help of latest technology.
Technical definition of permanently deleted files- If you think that your file is deleted from your computer, don't panic, it does not gets permanently deleted; but it was simply removed from the directory. Although, when you look into the directory the file would not be visible in the folder, but its contents still exists. In windows when a file gets deleted using the Delete key, the file moves to the Recycle Bin. However in case of Mac the deleted file goes to Trash. As long as the file remains in Recycle Bin/Trash, it can be easily retrieved without any problem at all. Now if you want to recover a deleted file, just look in the ...
... Recycle Bin or Trash.
If you have permanently deleted a file by using the Shift + Delete to get rid of it forever, and have deleted the same from within an application or used some other method of removing it that bypassed the bin, then chances are that your data is still retrievable. It is because, when you empty your Recycle Bin or delete a file using another method, the file is still not really deleted. The file no longer exists as far as the operating system is concerned and the space occupied becomes available for re-use by other new files. However, the disk space doesn't get re-used so fast and so the data contained in the deleted file will still be available on your hard drive for a limited period of time.
Chances of Recovery
As discussed above, the operating system doesn't immediately re-use the space emptied by the deleted files, therefore the files can be recovered as early as you realize of the loss. As a matter of fact, the chances of ideal recovery of permanently deleted data decrease as the time passes. This is because, some or all of that space will get re-used.
The chances of recovery also depend on amount of data available in the hard drive. Basically, windows try to avoid re-using the disk space that was recently freed. This is a positive fact related to Undelete Software. But increased amount of data in the drive, makes the deleted file prone to loss as the space freed will be soon allocated to the other files.
In addition to the above reasons, de-fragmentation of hard drive harms the chances of recovery brutally.
So to ensure that you don't lose on data, make sure you have the latest backup, and if you don't have one, then you have to switch to undelete software.
