Children learn proper behavior when you modeling that behavior. Special occasions present an unique situation as your loved ones may be placed in unfamiliar situations where they don't quite know what to do. Let's face it, if you child has never been to a wedding then she probably doesn't know what a flower girl is supposed to do. We understand how scary this can be for parents and children alike.

Some time ago, parents started asking our advice when purchasing Girl's Special Occasion Dresses. Whether it was at a trunk show, at a bridal show, over the phone or by email, parents have asked questions about their upcoming special occasions and we have been happy to share our experience. Some of the questions people have had when ordering Special Occasion Party Dresses were about traditional etiquette dos and don'ts. Hence, Ms. Tracy Young, owner and self described Chief Princess of A Little Indulgence decided to write a series of children's etiquette books. The first book is titled: A Little Guide to Flower Girl Etiquette and was written to familiarize young girls with being in a wedding. The next book (already in development) will revolve around making a first communion. The stories are illustrated in a manner that completely engages the child and helps familiarize a child with the upcoming event. Beautiful photography provides the perfect backdrop for practical tips for the adult. The goal is to introduce a new children's etiquette book every year. There are so many special occasions that the series can continue for quite a while.

When I started A Little indulgence, said Tracy Young, I wanted to create a children's boutique around life's cherished moments.
