When it comes to Poker, nobody does it better than Phil Ivey. He is one of the best players in the world under 40 and already has accumulated quite the trophy case from his big wins in the World Series of Poker. He has won 7 bracelets from the World Series of Poker and has been playing for money most of his life. He has accumulated millions in earnings and looks to make a lot more before his career is over.

His World Series of Poker Title wins include the Pot-Limit Omaha Event in 2000, the Seven-Card Stud Event in 2002, the Card Stud Hi/Lo Event in 2002, the S.H.O.E. Event in 2002, the Pot-Limit Omaha with Re-buys Event in 2005, and the No Limit Deuce to Seven Draw Event in 2009. He is an extremely talented player and continues to be a threat at every Poker table he sits down at.

Phil is from Atlantic City, New Jersey, and has been around Poker for most of his life. When he was younger he first officially fell in love with video games but then switched over to card games when he was in his early teens. His first big win on record, however, was in 2000 when he won the $2,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Event. This was largely considered one of his most convincing victories because he ended up beating out Amarillo Slim, Devilfish Uliott, and Phil Hellmuth himself. This was the start of a very dominating career that he has been able to extend. After 2002, he has gone on to win other bracelets and continues to make a name for himself.

There are other parts of Phil Ivey's career that are also worth noting. He made poker history when he won half a million dollars in the very first poke tournament to be broadcast on live television. This victory came in upstate New York at the Turning Stone Casino and has since led him to appear on a handful of other tables on the World Poker Tour that were also broadcast on television.
