Is Your Present Diet Working For You?
Hi,
It is a generally known FACT that 90% of diets just don't cut it in today's society! With all the fast food places, high paced lifestyle, eating on the run, drinking more than we should, and general lack of time for any form of exercise, it is no BIG surprise that most of America is overweight! Knowing all that, it sure doesn't stop over 80% of people saying they have been on, or are currently on, some form of a diet program in the past year with little or no success. So this being the case what's the point in losing 20 Lbs, and gaining back 25Lbs and why do people do it? There is no doubt that there is great pressure over the last few years to look 'thin'. If you want to lose weight, and know how to lose weight fast and keep it off, keep reading.
Most diets fail for all the above stated reasons. People chasing the next NEW and SHINY diet is another good reason.They want the "lose weight and lose it fast" logo on a sweatshirt. There are many diet fads out there that just don't work. They don't have any staying power. Hollywood stars will promote anything for a buck, and they do promote many ...
... diet fads. What they don't tell you or promote, is what actually works for them. What they actually use to get weight off and keep it off!
Some of the diets they, and others, promote do actually work in the short term. you can get a bunch of weight off, but can you keep it off? The programs they promote usually require you to change your whole approach to eating and what you eat. sometimes even almost starving yourself. They aren't doing that with their program, but if they tell you what it is, they won't get the next big thing to promote for big bucks! When you change all your habits, you will eventually fall back into them because it is too much to maintain it. it is a "shock" to your brain. Habits are called habits for a reason. The really sad thing is, when you fall back, and you will, you will probably end up weighing more than when you originally started.
What any good weight loss program will have is a healthy eating plan, but will make sure that it is gradual and includes many of the things you like to eat. You will have to cut out some unhealthy choices like maybe McDonalds. Speaking of Micky D's, if way back when Ray Kroc started McDonalds, would you have invested in it? Imagine a guy coming to you and saying"I am going to make and sell the most God Awful hamburger on the planet, greasy fries, and artery stopping milkshakes, and I will sell millions of them and be rich". Would you have invested in him? LOL. I thought not. Anyway, there will be some cutting back on some things but not others with the system I use. moderation is a big word in this program. have what you like, but don't overdo it.
You also need to find some time for some minor exercise. It is good for you anyway. Gets the heart started! You don't need to go and join a gym. get a dog and walk it, take a nice walk, jog, swim, tennis, golf, beat your spouse or significant other(just kidding, seeing if you were still paying attention)! The point is you don't have to train like an olympic athlete, just get some nice easy exercise in to get the metabolism up a bit. besides, it's fun. I can think of one good form of exercise, but I can't put it in here. Bottom line is people want to lose weight. They also want to know how to lose weight fast!
People need to understand that not everyone is going to be rail thin, or have 6 pack abs, etc. unless you really want to pay a heavy price. Most do not, including me, but you can reach and maintain your best weight! It's not that hard to do. You may have overweight in your family or a medical condition that helps you keep weight on(thyroid condition). Only a doctor can tell you that. I don't go along with the "my family is all fat so I will be too no matter how hard I try) excuse. I have 2 sisters that are fatter than "corn fed hogs" yet my Mom, dad, and me are all at decent body weights. I tell my older sister it might have something to do with eating a whole 1 pound bag of potato chips while watching American Idol. Ya Think??
Anyway, some minor exercise, and a sensible, non-radical weight loss program is what the doctor orders. I use and have used a program that has been on the net for over 10 years and going strong. if it was crap, it would have been gone a long time ago. if interested just click on my link and watch a quick informative video and go from there.
