Celebrating St. Patricks Day
Top of the morning to you..
As most of you will know, St. Patricks Day is just around the corner, and for once, I've managed to actually organise the party two weeks before, rather than the usual last minute rush to the shops, which never ends well.
Part of the reason for this years early shopping - aside from the ultimatum from the wife - is that I stumbled onto online shopping. I'm no fool, I've been using the internet to purchase goods for many years, but never have I thought to look for party supplies on the net, which is now turning into a big regret. I managed to land on a website aptly named partystuffonline.co.uk which as you can imagine, specialise in party good and products. They were not my first choice, or the first on Google, but after a brief period of looking and comparing prices, I found they were quite easily the cheapest website out of the lot.
First off, I would like to outline the quality of service. I selected the ‘3-day delivery' option, my order arrived in two. Better still, when I actually paid for my goods, the order had been rejected, but before I even realised this, a representative ...
... of partystuffonline contacted me, and took payment over the phone. Not only that, but he went through my order with me, and notified me I had ordered two personalised banners, and asked me if this was intentional, instead of keeping the £15 extra, they were more then happy to refund me my money and remove the duplicate item.
I also found the range to be extensive, especially for something like St. Patricks Day, where other websites offered a moderate section, but nothing close to this company. I think I brought every item from the tableware section - napkins, balloons, table covers, cups and even a shamrock-styled food tray. More impressive however, were the decorations and balloons. Not the standard plain green balloons I've been buying for the last 10 years, but actual personalised messages on there, and a set of ‘St. Patricks Day Balloons' which had some truly wonderful designs. This was echoed in the decorations section, which featured decoration kits, hanging banners and even a centrepiece, enough to make me believe we are back in Ireland!
Last but not least, my personal favourite, the costumes. I hadn't planned to dress up as anything, it's not something I've done before for St. Patricks Day, but as soon as I saw the leprechaun outfit, my mind was set. The kids absolutely adore the costume (I gave them a quick peek), especially since I brought some face paint for the ultimate effect. So, all in all I am completely set for the 17th, and now I can spend the next two weeks stress free. Thank you partystuffonline, you have made me a very happy Irish customer.
