Terminology of hangover is derived from the heady feelings that follow an intense alcohol intake. Usually, hangovers are experienced while the brain returns to its appropriate physiological state i.e. after the harmful effects of alcohol. The common characters of hangovers are sensations of headaches, nausea, and at times stomach pains, lethargy and dizziness. These characteristics can vary from individual to individual. If someone is excessively sensitive to the alcohol then he might have to face certain other severe problems as well such as diarrhea, hyperthermia, pain in the joints and many more. So, there is dire need to think about how to prevent hangover.
Normally, human being used ethyl alcohol which is the main active constituent in any alcohol formulation. Ethyl Alcohol In its unadulterated form is a colorless fluid which is dissolvable in water without much effort. This is due to this reason that when alcohol hits the stomach it enters to the blood stream without too much trouble. Nervous impulses normally slow down when there is alcohol in the blood stream. Carbohydrate diets are preferred such as a handsome portion of chips should be in your stomach when you are going to start drinking. Carbohydrates delay the absorption of alcohol into the body because carbohydrates attach with the wall of the intestine and provide less opportunity for the alcohol molecules to absorb form there.
Caffeine and chocolate have synergistic effects on a hangover. Actually, sugar intake triggers the nerve impulses to regain its function. Taking caffeine immediately after alcohol may deteriorate the situation but having a big cup of coffee can help a lot to alleviate the situation.
Some people fight hangovers through consuming one more pag of the similar drink during the morning. Well what is the philosophy of behind this is not known but this helps really in relieving the effects of hangover. Similarly, having a nice breakfast such as omelets and bread with a large cup of coffee can give a great assist in the alleviation of the hangover feelings.
In a nutshell, I may say that one should be careful regarding challenges ahead the next morning and consume the quantity accordingly. If you drink with full stomach and increase intake of water while drinking then there are very few chances that you may have to face the hangover.
