‘Printed window stickers’ are an effective tool for promoting your business ideas. They are simple but an ideal way of promoting your advertisements and business campaign. Apart from this, one can also fix it in shops and walls as a unique marketing tool.
However, if you are a self-made man and just want to fix your stickers by yourself, please consider these following instructions:
Five steps for fixing a promotional sticker:
1.Clean the surface:
Before fixing your floor stickers or car window sticker in their respective places, first, try to clean that surface with a quality surface cleaner. In this case, you can also use several other cleaning materials like household detergents, soap, alcohol and water.
Remember, never try to use windex or similar kinds of products. They often ...
... left some residue behind which in turn prevents your floor stickers and window stickers from adhering well to the surface.
2.Prepare the stickers:
A. Place the sticker on its respective surfaces
B. Use tapes to fix it there in a preferred alignment.
C. Take a credit card or a rubbing squeegee.
D. Gently rub the surface of the sticker, all across the transfer tape.
E. This eliminates any air bubbles that may have existed in between the thin layers of the stickers.
F. Prepare the sticker for transferring the tape.
3.Trim the white background:
Peel the outer-layer that is covering or backing of the stickers. This outer layer may come in various colour like white, black or blue. The purpose of this layer is to protect your custom floor stickers or car window stickers from dust, dirt, moisture, and scratches. Besides, this so-called white layer also protects the gluey background of the stickers.
4. Press it & place it:
Try to lower your favourite window stickers onto its respective surfaces. Here, you have to press the sticker in its respective surfaces. You can use a credit card or a squeegee to rub the sticker throughout of the length and breadth of the stickers.
5. Peel the transparent sheet:
Once the white background is gone and the sticker is lowered properly, then the sticker is only left with a thin and transparent plastic layer.
Slowly, remove this clear and transparent layer at a particular angle.
However, do not ever try to peel the sticker itself.
