The Mountain mja Tse, better known as Island Peak, these mountain is popular trekking peak in Himalayas of eastern Nepal. The peak is actually an extension of the ridge coming down off the south end of Lhotse Shar.16 days of climbing island peak journey make most fascinating adventure experience around the Himalayas. Most of the climber attempt to summit these peak before ascent Mt Everest so It was Successful summited by Swiss team of mountaineers while a training and preparation for Everest in 1956. After summit Island peak makes impressive experience in your heart because of wonderful Mountain View including MT Everest/MT Amadablam/Pokalde peak/Makalu/ Mt Baruntse/Mt. Kanchenjunga/Cho ouy/Cholatse…etc and more valley view can see. After flying from Kathmandu to Lukla our Himalayan foot trail begins from Lukla/Namchar Bazaar/ Tengbohce/Labuche/Goraksheap/Everest base camp & Kalapthar 5545m/Kongmala pass/ Chukung/island peak base camp.
To climb Island Peak we will begin from a base camp at 5,085 meters early morning 2 and 3 am via rocky gully, then we will get summit around 9-10 am top of the peak, another best ...
... option is from High Camp it reduces amount of effort & time at summit day. High camp is located (5600m) on rocky area. Base camp to high camp is normally a hike but just above high camp in additional Island peak climbing route goes on several crevasse. At the top of the gully, glacier travel begins and proceeds up to a steep snow and ice slope of 40-50 degrees. From here, Sherpa fixed the ropes to attempt summit.

Island peak climbing is the best adventurous explore & the dramatic landscapes, serene alpine forest, and rich Buddhist religion and culture friendly highland Sherpa communities in the Everest region. People those who have basic snow skill, physical fitness and well stamina they can climb These Mountain. After joining with US our Prof Climber will give best demonstrate training preparation in base camp about climbing gear how to use-where to use and what to use for those who haven’t enough snow skills & climbing.
When to climb?
Normally, climber trying to attempt on Oct to Nov and April-May are highly climbing season.
