The climate of Las Vegas is another important factor for many visitors, especially those planning a trip during the cold winter months. While cities elsewhere are struggling under layers of snow and ice, the city of Las Vegas is warm and welcoming. Winter visitors can come to Las Vegas to escape the chill and enjoy all that this warm and welcoming city has to offer.

The beautiful weather in Las Vegas also means that some of the best entertainment in town can take place outdoors. From people watching to fine dining to club hopping, some of the hottest action on the strip takes place outdoors under the stars. In fact some of the hottest and most popular clubs on the Las Vegas strip are located outdoors, where club goers can enjoy the fresh air and warm desert breezes that have helped to make Las Vegas such a popular vacation destination.

Creating a list of top clubs is always a challenge, and every visitor to Las Vegas will have his or her own opinion about the hottest clubs on and off the strip. The list below provides but a sampling of the many wonderful outdoor clubs visitors and locals can enjoy in this ...
... sparkling city.

PURE ? Caesars Palace

The PURE nightclub at Caesars Palace is always one of the hottest spots on the strip. This unique club is one of the hottest places to dance the night away every day of the week. While the energy level at PURE is high nearly all the time, it reaches its pinnacle when the weather is at its hottest. During the hot summer nights the crowd at PURE is at its best, and it is not at all unusual to see celebrities hanging out and enjoying the beautiful Las Vegas weather.

The Ghostbar ? Palms Las Vegas Hotel

This unique and trendy bar offers magnificent views of the valleys surrounding Las Vegas, and it attracts a young, hip and good looking crowd. The dancers here tend to be young, and the music is loud and very modern. Las Vegas visitors who want a fun place to hang out with friends and enjoy the warm weather should give this club a try. Making the Ghostbar part of a club hopping night out is always recommended.

The VooDoo Lounge ? Rio Hotel

The VooDoo Lounge at the Rio Hotel was one of the pioneers in the outdoor club concept, and it remains a popular hangout today. This venerable club was recently updated with a great new look, and it continues to draw both locals and tourists night after night. Like the Ghostbar at the Palms, the VooDoo Lounge offers some magnificent views as well as exciting nightlife and great drinks.

Whiskey Bar ? Green Valley Ranch

For a change of pace try the Whisky Bar at the Green Valley Ranch. This great outdoor club offers a wonderful contrast from the throbbing dance music and endless noise at some of the other clubs on the list. The outdoor club is right next to the pool area, making it a convenient place to enjoy both the warm weather and a pleasant conversation with friends. The Whisky Bar is also a popular spot for dates, both with locals and with out of town visitors. And perhaps best of all in what can be an expensive city ? admission to the Whisky Bar is free.

Fontana ? Bellagio Hotel

The Bellagio Hotel is one of the classiest properties on the Las Vegas strip, and this unique outdoor bar is a touch of class in a see of seedier drinking spots. The jazz playing at the Fontana can be a welcome respite from the throbbing dance beat found at other clubs in town, and the martinis are among the best in town. Visitors who crave a touch of class should be sure to stop by the Fontana at least once.

Tangerine ? Treasure Island Hotel

The Tangerine bar features an outdoor deck which faces the Las Vegas strip. This stunning location practically guarantees lots of entertaining sights, as well as providing a ringside seat for the great Sirens of Treasure Island show. Early birds will be glad to know that both the lounge and the deck open at 5:30 every evening, making Tangerine a great place to start a fun night of bar hopping.

Of course there are plenty of other wonderful bars, dance clubs and night spots in the city that never sleeps. Every visitor to this unique vacation destination will have their own favorite spot for drinking, dancing and having fun. So leave your hotel room behind and explore this special city when the sun goes down and the beautiful people head out in search of good times and great memories.
