Mark H. Stenberg, CEO
Mark was the founder and CEO of Iceland Health, Inc. which was acquired in a 2006 merger with Nutrition 21, Inc. (NXXI), a Nasdaq-traded public company. Under Mark’s stewardship Iceland Health became the largest selling brand of omega-3 in the U.S. Mark is a founding member of Icelandirect and has served as CEO since 2010. Prior to coming to the supplement industry, Mark spent 20 years in the computer industry founding and subsequently selling seven computer-related enterprises. He has an MBA from University of Virginia and is active on the Government Affairs Committee of the Electronic Retailing Association.
Brandon Miller, President
Brandon was a co-founder of Brazilian Basics, a nutritional supplement marketer, before joining Icelandirect in 2009 as Senior VP of Sales. He has since been promoted to President, overseeing all of Icelandirect’s import and distribution operations including product development, assisting clients in sourcing, and developing strategic products within the health and wellness industry. Greg Cerutti, Client Services Manager
Greg brings to Icelandirect a full complement of customer service support to ensure complete business satisfaction. Additionally, he comes with a strong customer service background in the healthcare industry and more recent experience in sales as an Account Executive with Koyo Cooling Systems, Inc. Greg holds a B.A. in Communication and an M.A. in Leadership Studies and Public Administration from Centenary College of New Jersey.
Henry Arevalo, Account Manager
Henry brings to Icelandirect a combination of experience in both sales and microbial analysis. Prior to joining Icelandirect, Henry worked at Reliance Vitamin, a supplement manufacturing company specializing in contract and private label sales. At Reliance he started out as a microbiologist and then moved on to sales where he brought in new business as well as managed existing accounts. At Icelandirect, Henry uses his analytical background to assist clients in choosing and formulating the most optimal ingredients for their production requirements. Henry holds a B.A. from Rutgers University.
John Pusateri, Purchasing Manager
John has extensive dietary ingredient industry experience, including seven years as the Direct or Procurement for Aspire Pharmaceuticals. He brings to Icelandirect expertise in the areas of ingredient sourcing, vendor negotiation and inventory management. John graduated from the University of Scranton with a B.S. in International Business.
Bruce Huff, Production Manager
Prior to joining Icelandirect, Bruce spent 25 years demonstrating hands-on manufacturing and operational excellence by successfully leading the day-to-day operations of several diversified manufacturing and distribution facilities. He has consistently grown revenues and profits by developing a culture that embraced continuous improvement; producing a high quality value-added product that was delivered on-time at the lowest possible cost. Bruce spent the past eight years at Reliance Vitamin Company running a cGMPnutraceutical contract manufacturing facility, adhering to all Federal, State, and Local regulatory agencies. His areas of responsibilities included manufacturing, supply chain management, master production planning, sales forecasting and departmental budgets, warehouse/inventory management,
distribution/fulfillment, logistics, customer service, supplier and sustomer contract negotiation and human resources. Additionally, Bruce was a member of their executive management team. Bruce studied business and finance at Raritan Valley CC and is certified black belt in Six Sigma from Motorola University.
Andrea Patino, Logistics Manager
Andrea brings to Icelandirect wide experience centered in operations and logistics. As a result of her strong background in this particular field, Andrea successfully solves organizational and operational issues, builds strong customer confidence while producing results. Prior to joining Icelandirect, Andrea worked at ECHO Design Group and Atlantic Detroit Diesel Allison and has over ten years of experience in transportation, logistics and project management. She has a BA in Psychology and Spanish Literature from Rutgers University.
Taylor Clark, Customer Service Manager
Taylor brings to Icelandirect a well-rounded background in customer service as well as administrative and marketing skills. Taylor holds a B.S. degree from Rutgers University in Exercise Science and Sports Studies. While attending Rutgers, Taylor competed on the all-girl cheerleading team, worked as a Fitness Assistant in the college gym, and served as a marketing intern, organizing and coordinating many of the school’s BIG 10 athletic events. Prior to this, Taylor worked 5 years at Lake Beverage Corp, an Anheuser-Busch Distributor, helping in the administration, warehouse and marketing departments. Taylor has always had a compelling interest in the health and wellness arena and has competed in several figure and fitness competitions. She is active at maintaining health and wellness as part of her everyday living.
Freddy Calis, Production
Freddy brings to Icelandirect a wide variety of skills in warehousing, production, and sourcing. With his experience in the nutraceutical industry, Freddy helps facilitate day-to-day operations to ensure the highest industry standards are met. Over the years, Freddy has developed fruitful relationships with many raw materials and component suppliers. At Icelandirect, he utilizes these relationships to help provide customers with the highest quality products at an affordable cost. Freddy previously worked at Archon Vitamin, a supplement manufacturing company, working his way up from warehouse staging to purchasing and then to working in all areas of the supply chain. Freddy Studied at Bergen County Tech in Hackensack, NJ.
Kale Evans, Print Production
Kale was the founder of KEX Consulting which specializes in Internet marketing, SEO, paid search, cost-per-action campaigns, web design, and ecommerce solutions. He was instrumental in the success of Brazilian Basics, Brazilian Acai and Boomer Berry DRTV campaigns. Kale has a B.S. in Marketing from University of Missouri-Columbia.
