Synchronization Stops Due To Error ‘the Information Store Could Not Be Opened

MS Outlook users might be familiar with error ‘The information store could not be opened'. This error usually occurs when the synchronization of Offline folder .OST with Exchange Server has not been complete or successful. Also when your offline storage file .ost contains corrupt/damaged information, you are unable to synchronize your folders until you delete the .ost file. This means that all the changes made offline won't be visible after synchronization due to failed synchronization process.
This special feature of MS Exchange Server of working offline is highly elating. When using an Exchange Server account, you can access your Outlook mailbox folders even in offline mode. The offline folder .OST needs to be synchronized with MS Exchange Server on getting connection with it. Synchronization is possible till the connection with Exchange Server mailbox remains intact and the OST file remains uncorrupted. However, if any of these events occurs, the OST file fails to synchronize. Therefore, at that time you might be in need of OST to PST conversion software that is an apt solution for recovering or rescuing orphan ...
... or corrupt OST file.
Let's consider a situation (which is quite a common one) when you attempt to start MS Outlook and try to access your emails, you start receiving the below error message:
The information store could not be opened.
With occurrence of this error message you are not able to work offline and also, synchronization with MS Exchange Server interrupts.
Reason
Some of the main reasons that lead to such error situation are as follows:
OST file is not correctly set up or configured within MS Outlook.
May be your OST file is corrupt. The most common reasons that can cause OST to corrupt are immaturely stopping of OST synchronization, unexpected shutdown, software failure, and similar other reasons.
Resolution
Perform the following steps/suggestions in order to eradicate this issue.
First of all, configure OST correctly to offline setup. For this, you can click Tools Server Microsoft Exchange Advance and then check if the file is listed. If not, make the appropriate changes to use the file.
If the OST is correctly configured and still you receive the above error, your OST file might be corrupt. To resolve the issue, you need to create a new OST file and/or perform OST to PST recovery for the damaged OST.
OST to Outlook conversion software ,OST to PST conversion software successfully performs the exportation of mailbox items from corrupt OST file by scanning the .ost, extracting all the email data and saving them to .PST file. OST to PST is the secure and reliable conversion that is recommended if you want to save your OST file data from permanent loss.
