The word ‘sapling’ means a young tree with slender trunk. The same meaning can be applied to our young kindergarten Alphians who celebrated ‘Sapling Day’ in the school premises. Alpha School(CBSE), CIT Nagar, Chennai is proudly celebrating its 50th golden jubilee year with the theme ‘Save our world ‘.The Kindergarten department contributed their small part to the theme by celebrating Sapling day on 27th July 2017 in our school premises. All Kindergarten children were taught the significance of planting trees to save our world. Every child brought a sapling and was asked to plant them in and around the school premises. Each class has adopted a specific area to water and nurture the plants. Sapling day was a success in every aspect. It provided valuable insight not only for our young minds but also for everyone who witnessed the program on saving our world by planting more trees.
