Blog Posts - Ten Incredible Methods For Exploding You Blog Posts
As more and more people are now trying their luck in the field of blogging, it's very important that you make yours the best in the online arena. This can happen if your blog is professionally-designed, easy to navigate, pleasing on the eyes, and most importantly, if it contains great information that can possibly bring positive impact to the lives of your readers.
In this article, I wish to share with you some proven methods that can help you make your blog posts stand out from the crowd. These can surely help in making your blog more popular in the online arena so you will not have any problem attracting qualified traffic and in getting the kind of response that you need so, read on!.
1. First, start your blog posts with killer headlines. You would want to make your visitors feel that each of your blog articles is a must-read. Tell them the gist of your content using powerful words.
Keep in mind that your headlines must be very short and they must be very descriptive. Your audience must know right away what's in it for them before they even start reading your blog content.
2. Topics. I am not ...
... sure why but there are so many bloggers who try to cover too many grounds on their blog. They talk about their daily activities, they offer SEO tips, they offer book reviews, then suddenly, they'll promote wedding dresses and running shoes. If you want online users to take your blog seriously, you must focus on one subject only. Write only those topics that are extremely relevant to the theme of your blog.
4. Keep your readers in mind. You'll be able to produce better blog posts if you always consider your readers, their learning needs, and their preferences each time you write. Talk about those things that they find interesting just like their hobbies or the problems that they're currently going through. Use their language and the terms that they're most comfortable with. Give in to their demands as much as possible so you can easily impress them and later on, convince them to come back on a regular basis.
5. Write something that is worth your readers' while. Make sure that you only share information that are valuable to the eyes of your readers. If you don't have anything good to share, that's fine. You can still update your blog by doing interviews, reviewing books that are relevant to your blog's theme, etc.
6. K.I.S.S. Always keep your blog posts short and sweet. Get t the point quickly. Remember, your audience are scanners and they don't have a single second to waste. Tell them your thoughts and ideas using as few words as possible -- they'll surely love you for doing so.
7. Make it sound lively. You'll be able to attract more attention and you'll definitely be able to give your visitors great reading experience if you make your blog posts sound lively and upbeat. Don't worry as you can do this without breaking a sweat. Just write the same way you talk to your friends. Keep your sentences short and always use common terms. Insert relevant questions and humor from time to time.
8. Write with clarity. Some bloggers are using big, fancy words on their blog posts thinking that this is one way to convince their readers that they've got higher intelligence. Well, let me tell you that this is not necessarily true. You see, people can easily get frustrated when they can't seem to understand the points that you're trying to get across. As they don't have time to waste, they will surely not consider reading your blog posts over and over again. Instead, they'll move to the next blog that can give them the information they need in a very easy to understand manner. You don't want this to happen, do you?
9. Use keywords. Make your blog searchable in the online arena by optimizing each blog post that you create. Insert the keywords or keyphrases that you're targeting on your headlines, on your first and last sentences, and at least once on each of your paragraph. Just make sure though that you'll only use your keywords twice for every 100 words. You don't want to be a keyword abuser.
10. Review your blog articles. Before you go ahead and push that publish button, I suggest that you check your blog article first. Does your headline fit your content? Is your lead paragraph interesting enough to get your audience to read on? Is your blog post interesting to read? Would somebody who is virtually clueless about your topic understand your post? Is your blog article free from jargon and highly technical terms? Does it contain complete information? Does your content flow smoothly? Is it free from grammar, spelling, and factual errors?
